VisAbility(tm) 		VisAbility™ View, an integral part of VisAbility™ Reports for Visual Manufacturing®, is a powerful viewer for Crystal Reports.  VisAbility™ View allows easy deployment of VisAbility™ Reports as well as substantially simplifying the deployment of your own Crystal Reports®.

VisAbility™ View offers compelling advantages to report users as well as Crystal Reports® developers and system administrators:

  • Single login to work with multiple reports.  Unlike the Crystal Report® Distribution Wizard, VisAbility™ View is wired to work with your Visual Manufacturing® system.  It allows the user to login once to work with many reports during the work day.

  • Multiple copies of any report can be open.  The user can open several copies of the same report with different parameters to look at the data differently.

  • Reports can be printed, viewed, emailed or exported to a number of different formats including Adobe Acrobat® (PDF).

  • The user can select report information to quickly see comments, notes and parameter information that has been embedded in the report's Summary Info. They no longer need to open dozens of reports to find the one they want.

  • Your custom reports can be deployed by simply copying them to a directory on the server.  You no longer need to visit each user's machine to run the Distribution Wizard.

  • Users can attach to many different Visual Manufacturing databases regardless of the database to which the report was originally bound.  

  • The viewer transparently handles sub-reports.  No need to recompile the report to attach sub-reports to each possible database on your system!  Try that with the Distribution Wizard.

  • No requirement to install or use Crystal Reports® ODBC drivers, even if your reports were developed using them.  The Viewer allows the system administrator to specify the ODBC Data Source Name (DSN) to be used when attaching to a Visual Manufacturing® database.
