It all seems to hinge on the inventory doesn't it?  You plan and plan, but inevitably that part that you really need to meet the customer's requirement just isn't there.  Of course there are 10,000 other parts sitting on the shelf that you haven't sold in four years.

Help is on the way.  VisAbility™ Inventory Reports for Visual Manufacturing® are just the ticket for solving the "I don't know enough about my inventory" blues.

Carr Enterprises has put its years of experience in helping companies implement Visual Manufacturing® smarter, into creating this suite of powerful reports to help you better manage your inventory.

Inventory Turns We can't count the number of times that someone has asked "Where do I go in Visual™  to see inventory turns?"  Well we finally have a good answer to that question.

The VisAbility™ Inventory Turns Report gives you quick insight into the velocity of your inventory.  This report which can be run for any range of dates, part ID's or product codes shows current stock status, average inventory over the period, sales and issues to work orders, and turns during the period in question.

Just another reason to Turn to VisAbility™ Reports.

Obsolete Inventory Just as important as how quickly the inventory is turning is discovering those items that aren't being used at all.  The Obsolete Inventory Report allows you to quickly locate items which are collecting dust rather than sales.

This simple, but powerful, report allows you to define your own date driven criteria for determining which items are obsolete.

The report lists the obsolete parts along with the current quantity on hand and the last use date.

Negative Inventory Locations A chronic problem for most Visual Manufacturing users is keeping track of negative inventory locations.  While ideally inventory locations would never go negative, the reality of using Visual Manufacturing® dictates that they do.

Using this report makes finding the negative locations a snap.

Parts in Hold Locations How much of your inventory is tied up in On Hold inventory locations?  That is not so easy to figure out, is it?

The VisAbility™ Parts in Hold Locations Report makes finding those parts quick and easy.

Parts in Unavailable Locations This report makes it just as easy to find parts that are in unavailable locations.
Where Are They?
  • Warehouse Location listing
  • Parts, Warehouse, Locations listing
Ever want to see which parts were in what locations in Visual™?

These simple, but handy, reports provide a listing of all parts stored in the warehouse or locations.  It also can be run to show a listing of warehouses and locations for a range of parts.

Parts by ABC Code Visual Manufacturing® has powerful tools for performing an ABC analysis.  If you want to see what it has done, well that is another story.

This report will quickly show you how the ABC analysis tool broke out your inventory.

Parts Lists:
  • by Primary Warehouse
  • by Auto Issue Warehouse
  • by Inspection Warehouse
These reports give you a quick view of the default warehouse and location settings for parts in your database.

So much in Visual keys off of these settings that having the ability to quickly see the current settings is a powerful inventory management capability.
